Alfred Sargon - Painter, Photographer, Architect,
North - Santa Eulalia, Ibiza

Alfred Sargon was born in 1944 in Teheran/Iran. He studied architecture at UdK, the University of Arts in Berlin. He worked till 1979 in different architectural offices in Germany.

In 1979 he created his own office 'SARGON DESIGN' in Spain/Ibiza. From1979 to 2005 he planned and built plenty of houses on Ibiza island. From 2006 on, he dedicated himself exclusively to painting and photography.

For the last 5 years he travelled to Asia, Africa and America during which period he painted more than 400 - mostly large sized - paintings and made photobooks about Dakar, Cuba, Iran, Morocco and Sri Lanka.

His first exhibition after 2006 was in September and October 2008 at Gallery Es Moli in Ibiza. His second show of paintings and photographies will be at the SHERIBAN TÜKMEN Gallery from June the 5th to July the 30th, 2009 in Berlin.
